I would gift this to: My mom, or every mom in the whole world, if I could.
My Mother, My Caretaker, My Life.
When you prayed sincerely to God,
He granted you me.
You were elated. You were comforted. You were blessed.
This little note doesn't begin to hold all that you have been to me;
Before I knew myself, you knew me.
Before I could speak, you heard me.
I was your treasure, and nothing else in the world existed to you.
I gave you pain, I gave you sorrow, yet you wanted me in this world.
Life or death, we call it, because it was unknown.
Here I came, with ten fingers and ten toes;
I also didn't have any clothes.
You nourished me and kept me warm,
Away from danger and harm.
All the years of growth and struggle,
You saw the best in me.
I'm not perfect, nor do I want the title;
But in your eyes, I am very special.
You see no fault whatsoever,
You love so unconditional.
But.. you need to know that I may be your treasure
But you my dearest mom,
You are my World!
If I don't tell you often,
I Love You & The Whole World Deserves to know.
SPECIAL: My love goes out to every mom, mom-to-be, dads who took the role.. or any person that was granted the motherhood role. It's a tough job to raise us kids, with the dangers of everyday living. On behalf of all children (young & old), I want to sincerely thank each of you for making us possible, no matter what situation we're in. We sometimes say hurtful things and we never mean it. We regret in silence, and we pray to God that he forgives us, because we are only human. Special days such as Mother's Day and Birthdays, etc. are too limited for what we should be grateful for.
Win or lose this competition, please love your parents daily.
